Crawley Wasps’ reserves maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a 5-0 dismissal of Eastbourne Ladies on Sunday.
Winger Nicholle Smith created both first-half goals, crossing for Amy Woollard at the far post and then setting up Catherine O’Hagan for the first of her two strikes.
Top scorer Rosanne Fine was denied by a great save, while Eastbourne competed well throughout but the greater potency of Simon Pavey’s side took its toll in the second half.
Soon after the break, Woollard fed O’Hagan and the former Northern Ireland international’s deflected effort made it 3-0.
Another ex-international, Lithuanian Olga Svaikevic, was introduced from the bench and she added the fourth after excellent work from Martin and O’Hagan.
Svaikevic was also involved in the fifth goal, when her header was blocked and Martin gleefully pounced upon the loose ball.
It took the reserves’ tally to 33 goals in their five matches as they continue to set the pace at the top of the South East Counties Premier Division.
Wasps reserves: Samain; Richards, Rippin, Duncan, Ward; N. Smith, M. Carter, T. Smith, Woollard; O’Hagan, Fine. Subs: Svaikevic, Dunn, Barnham, Martin.
