Under 14 Make it a 9-9-9 for Christmas

Mile Oak Wanderers 0 Crawley Wasps 4

Crawley Wasps made it 9 wins from 9 games to move 9 points clear at the top of the Sussex U14 Girls League. Wasps started brightly and pinned Mile Oak back for much of the 1st half, controlling possession and playing some delightful one touch football. Poppy Nicholls opened the scoring with a trade mark curling effort into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Wasps second was a team affair, Lauren Graves whose distribution was exceptional throughout rolled out to Eleanor Keegan, who found Chloe Upton who in turn played in Yasmin Church to square for player of the match,Amy Perry to roll in at the far post. Nicholls was unfortunate to see her 30 yard free kick cannon back of the bar before Erin Porter went close with a couple of long range efforts of her own. Wasps sealed the game in the second half, Church bursting through and shooting across the keeper before Graves made a fantastic save from a Mile Oak penalty. Chanelle Gainsford wrapped things up scoring direct from her in swinging corner.
